Baby Predictions

At my baby shower I want to have everyone write down their predictions for our little lady. Here's what I have so far: 

• What day will she arrive?
• What time will she arrive?
• How long will mom be in labor?
• How much will she weigh? 
• How long will she be?
• Will she have hair?
• What color hair will she have?
• What color will her eyes be?
• Will she have dimples? One or two?
• Will she look more like mom or dad?

I can't wait to see what everyone thinks and who is right.

Happy Birthday Sister!

Today my little sister turns 23 years old! Unfortunately, I won't get to see her today but she's coming to town on Friday and on Saturday we're going out to celebrate with her.

Love you sister! I hope you have a good birthday!!

28 Weeks

How far along? 28 weeks

Total weight gain? like 20 lbs :( I'll know for sure at my appointment on Wednesday

Best moment this week: seeing my belly grow

Miss anything? eating without feeling sick

Movement: all the time :)

Food Cravings: none really

Anything making you queasy or sick: not eating frequently 

Gender Prediction: GIRL! It's a girl :)

Symptoms: nausea, hip pain when I'm sleeping

Happy or Moody most of the time: happy

Looking forward to: meeting my baby girl

Baby Names? I think I like Penny but I'm not sure..

Thoughts: My poor baby still doesn't have a name and it makes me sad.

Swinging Sisters

Two minutes outside and it started raining. But who cares? Not us. A little rain never hurt anyone.  

27 Weeks

How far along? 27 weeks

Symptoms: lower back pain, heartburn, a little nausea

Looking forward to: 

Baby Names? No idea. We need to start looking through the baby name book again

Thoughts: it's getting closer to d-day and its all starting to get really real. I'm getting nervous. 

Beach Day

26 Weeks

How far along? 26 weeks

Total weight gain? 15-20lbs. I'm not sure because  I only weigh myself when I see my midwife. 

Best moment this week: planning the baby shower

Miss Anything? sleeping through the night without getting up to pee

Movement: yes! And I can see it from the outside sometimes 

Food Cravings: Chik-fil-a chicken sandwiches 

Anything making you queasy or sick: not eating frequently enough 

Gender Prediction: GIRL! It's a girl :)

Symptoms: lower back pain has officially begun

Looking forward to: planning my ladybug baby shower

Baby Names? Emma, Penny, Piper. deciding on a name is going to be the hardest part.

This girl is the sweetest. I can't wait to see her and bambina play together! 

My Babies

I love them so much! And I can't wait until baby girl is here and they get to be big sisters! 

25 Weeks

How far along? 25 weeks. Wow. Only fifteen more to go!

Total weight gain? 15lbs last time I weighed myself but it's probably more by now

Best moment this week: spending all day, every day of the new year with Rex

Miss Anything? sleeping through the night 

Movement: yes! All the time really but especially in the morning right when I wake up and when I'm really hungry. 

Food Cravings: ice cream and candy. I seriously need to stop eating so much sugar. 

Anything making you queasy or sick: last night I had Dairy Queen and threw it up three hours later. 

Gender Prediction: GIRL! It's a girl :)

Symptoms: heartburn!

Looking forward to: finally registering this week!

Baby Names? This week I kept thinking about the name Piper Porter. Rex says she'll get teased but I think it's super cute. He likes the name Isabel and we would call her Izzy. Agreeing on something is going to be tough. 

Thoughts: I want to start nesting and getting the apartment situated but Rex has no interest in it. He thinks its too son. I don't think he realizes how little time we really have. I would like to have everything done by mid March and that's only two months away!

Fire In The Sky

I have a thing for sunsets. Today's was especially beautiful. It looked like the sky was burning. 

Happy New Year!

We rang in the new year with my family at my parent's house. I'm so happy my cousin Kyle (bottom right) came from Austin and that my newly engaged cousin (middle) and his fiancé stopped by. I haven't seen both of them at the same time in years. Everyone had a great time. I can't wait too see all the blessings that this new year will hold!
