Just Another Boring Monday

It's still cold and rainy so Rex had the day off. Again. It's cool because we get to hang out all day but it sucks because he's not making money.
We started the day by grabbing breakfast at Los Ramirez. It's Rex's favorite place ever. They make a good huevos con pappas so that's what we both got. It was amazing. Like it always is.

And after that we went to Home Depot for supplies to do a few repairs to the new place. Thank goodness we received a bazillion Home Depot gift cards from our wedding.
Here's a close up of Rex's favorite type of wood. Poplar. It has these pretty purple areas with some green areas also. Its' really pretty. It looks like a pistachio.

Rex's car insurance was expired so I called up and added him to my policy. It was so cool. It's the first legal thing we have together. It was only $14 for the remainder of this month for him. Since I added him I received a multi car discount and a discount for being married. All in all we will be paying around $75 for the two of us for a month. I was paying $50 just me so yeah, we saved a ton of money on our car insurance! Score!

Tonight I watched the first episode of The Carrie Diaries on the CW. We don't have cable or Internet in the new apartment yet so I watch what I can. It wasn't bad. I kinda liked it. Her love interest is really cute. I'll probably watch a few more episodes and see what it's all about.
