Today we drove out to San Francisco with our friends. On the way out there we stopped in Santa Rosa to eat and have a few beers at the Russian River Brewery. Rex had heard that Pliny The Elder had won awards for the best IPA recently so he had to stop and have a few and buy a few to take back to Texas with us.
After a long and winding car drive down to the coast we were in San Francisco. I finally got to see the Golden Gate Bridge and cross it off the list.
My main only objective was to see the Full House house - you have no idea how bad I wanted to go inside.
We parked the car on a random street and wandered around the city until we stumbled upon this little spot by the water. To our left we could see the Golden Gate Bridge, to our right we could see Alcatraz, and behind us was the Ghirardelli Factory. We continued to walk around the city, stopped at an art gallery and soaked up all the Asian and Italian culture.
On the way out I really wanted to stop somewhere to take pictures with the gorgeous yellow sunset but unfortunately I was not driving and the jerk who was did not want to stop. I was forced to take pictures from the car so this is the best I could get. It was a million times more beautiful in person.
